From a scholarship perspective, our department leads the country in supporting a widely circulated medical journal JCHIMP. We prepare our residents for the many forces which will disrupt, reshape and shift the U. He completed both his residency and his pulmonary and critical care fellowships at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She also serves as a board-certified hospitalist. In her position as Associate Program Director, Dr. Chodoff is interested in resident education, curriculum development, community outreach, and mentorship.

Prior to Levindale, she served as internist, geriatrician and medical director at Western Maryland Hospital Center in Hagerstown.

She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, where she served as chief resident, along with a fellowship in Geriatrics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Daley practices both Internal and Geriatric Medicine and embraces a holistic approach to healthcare. Ferguson was educated at Cornell University Medical College, where he earned his medical degree.

Ferguson does not see patients in an office based setting. In addition to being a member of the inpatient faculty of the GBMC Internal Medicine residency program, he also serves as medical director of Unit 34 as well as chair of the Clinical Value Analysis Committee. His clinical interests include quality improvement and teaching. Flack does not see patients in an office-based setting. His clinical interests include wellness and preventive medicine. Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Dr.

Fuscaldo does not see patients in an office based setting. Karkowsky earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he also completed his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care. His clinical and research interests involve the diagnosis and management of severe asthma; specifically, as it relates to unique subtypes of asthma and the importance of personalizing asthma therapy to each patient.
